Masterworx has been appointed to develop a 10-year strategy plan for this award-winning exclusive island. The scope includes the architecture and interior design for a new arrival building, luxury bedroom villas, beach restaurant, dive center, gym, and renovation of existing hotel structures.

In 2023, the rollout of the newly-designed luxury villas is expected.

Masterworx has been appointed in 2023 to design a landmark interior for a new nine storey, 125 key 15,000 square meter hotel, using our experience and vast knowledge of international branded hotels and standards, while taking our inspiration from the rich history of the region, culture aspects and surrounding forests and natural landscape features.

Masterworx has been appointed by the same owners of our Bafoussam project, to design a second, landmark interior concept for a new seven storey, 50 key, 6,000 square meter boutique sea facing hotel, using our experience and vast knowledge of international branded hotels and standards, while taking our inspiration from the surrounding sandy beaches, ocean and its vibey night life beach side experiences.

Experience the harmony of nature and modern luxury with the new family home in the remote southern parts of Mahe Island. Designed to embrace the natural elements, this 4-bedroom modern villa will begin construction in 2023, perched high in the lush tropical mountains. With its blend of design elements and features gleaned from years of experience in both South Africa and Seychelles coastline projects, this home promises to deliver an unforgettable living experience.

The extensive renovations and additions to this private villa on Cerf Island were completed despite the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic, thanks to the tireless efforts of the team members in our Johannesburg and Mahe offices. With furniture now unpacked and the final touches complete, the villa is ready for its owners' eagerly-anticipated return for a well-deserved holiday after two years of absence.

We are thrilled to announce this newly-appointed project, bringing a bespoke luxury experience to Mahe on the stunning beachfront property of Anse Forbans. Our clients, with a deep appreciation for architecture and this idyllic location, seek to create a design that is equally fitting.

 The plans have been been approved by the local authorities and we eagerly anticipate the start of this project and our first site meeting.

This project will bring a new level of eco-luxury to Mahe with the island's first-of-its-kind hotel, nestled within a lush tropical forest with breathtaking views of the ocean. Designed to preserve the natural vegetation, streams, and granitic boulders, each unit is a testament to our vision of harmonious integration with nature. Our adaptive reuse strategy repurposes existing structures, while the exterior design takes inspiration from traditional Seychellois architecture to create a lodge that seamlessly blends in with its surroundings.

 In 2023, the first phase of infrastructure and services will be put in place, ensuring minimal impact on the natural environment, and allowing construction teams to "tread lightly" during the building process.

It’s been an early and busy start to 2023, the Masterworx Team has been appointed for the complete redesign and extensive upgrade on this iconic Indian Ocean Lodge. What a delightful surprise for the first week of Januworry! Renovations and additions to start on the main building and support structures in June 2023. The team must turn this one around quickly.

The Space was established in 2000 by a group of local designers to showcase African design, expanding from one stand-alone store to eight regional brick-and-mortar shops in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, and Durban.

 Chosen for their cutting-edge design, quality, creativity and originality, each local designer represented by The Space brings an innovative approach to African Fashion. The Space is all about LOCAL fashion and accessories created by African designers, locally made and distributed.

 The Masterworx Team has been appointed to lead the brands new retail interior design strategy for all their stores. We are super proud to be part of this vital creative platform.

 THE SPACE Gateway, will receive a full revamp, bringing this store to the high standard of levels that is found throughout this prestigious shopping center that is well represented by all the great retail brands.

An exclusive 4-bedroom lodge set up on the mountain slopes of this private Nature Reserve in the Waterberg Mountains. Designed to fit between and embrace natural bush, trees and levels, the lodge has uninterrupted views of the majestic Kransberg Mountain range.

This unique concept developed for a focused service hotel for the African continent has been endorsed by the Marriott Protea brand. Efficient layouts and functionality, with design inspiration taken from local influences at each location, is sure to capture the hearts of both local and international travelers, with the first location currently being planned in the SADC Region.

The bold design for this hotel is emphasised through traditional African patterns used on screens and feature walls. This design truly mirrors its context with the colours being a reflection of the soil in the surrounding area.
